The fees relate to alleged crimes that happened between August 2020 and February 2023, British prosecutors added.
The alleged spies had been named as Orlin Roussev, 45, Bizer Dzhambazov, 41, Katrin Ivanova, 31, Ivan Stoyanov, 31, and Vanya Gaberova, 29, all Bulgarian nationals residing in London and Norfolk.
They’re as a result of seem at Westminster Magistrates’ Court docket on September 26.
Three of them – Roussev, Dzhambazov and Ivanova – had been charged in February with “possession of false id paperwork with improper intent”, the CPS stated.
The trio appeared in courtroom on the Outdated Bailey in London in July to face these prices.
