Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned on Saturday that his military’s precedence is to “clear up the hostile forces” after the Palestinian group Hamas launched an operation earlier within the day.
“Our first goal is to clear the hostile forces which have infiltrated our territory and restore safety and tranquility to the area [Israeli] communities which were attacked,” Netanyahu mentioned as he addressed a Safety Cupboard assembly.
