Binance, the leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has emerged as a beacon of hope with its massive humanitarian initiative in the wake of the devastating earthquake that has left Morocco reeling from extensive devastation.

Instant help for Binance users

In a rare show of solidarity, Binance Charity will donate $3 million in BNB (Binance Coin) to earthquake-affected Moroccan users. Users with verified POAs before September 9, 2023 will receive $100 worth of Binance Coins, which was worth $20,957 at the time.

The kindness continues. Binance will also give $25 worth of BNB to POA verification users between September 9 and 30, 2023. The distribution process will begin on September 12, 2023.

Global Earthquake Donations

In addition to targeted assistance for its user base, Binance Charity has established a broader network and initiated a dedicated public donation channel. This gesture invites the international community to support the affected Moroccans in this hour of great need. This donation campaign is open to several leading cryptocurrencies, including BNB, BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT and BUSD. Proceeds from this initiative will flow seamlessly to a vetted NGO, which will be tasked with implementing the Emergency Earthquake Appeal.
