Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi yesterday criticized “normalization and give up” to Israel, saying the one method to take with Tel Aviv is “resistance.”
Talking on the opening of the Worldwide Convention on Islamic Unity in Tehran, Raisi mentioned that “normalizing relations with the Zionist regime is a backward act for any authorities within the Islamic world,” information company IRNA reported.
“Adopting the choice of resistance when confronting the enemy has confirmed extraordinarily profitable and has eradicated the choice of give up and compromise, forcing the enemy to retreat and be defeated,” he mentioned, noting that “ the frequent imaginative and prescient as we speak is steadfastness. and resistance to enemies, not normalization and give up.”
The Islamic Republic, Israel’s archenemy, has repeatedly criticized normalization offers signed by the UAE, Bahrain and Morocco in 2020.
Washington has held marathon talks with each Saudi Arabia and Israel with the purpose of normalizing relations between them. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has confirmed that the dominion is “shut” to concluding a take care of Tel Aviv.
In September, Raisi mentioned normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel could be a “stab within the again” for the Palestinians.
In April, regional rivals Iran and Saudi Arabia struck a Chinese language-brokered deal to revive ties between them after a seven-year hiatus.
